The CAB project completion 2022
The CAB (formally the Civic Administration Building) is a renovation of an iconic Auckland landmark that has been sustainably built featuring luxurious residences from one bedroom all the way up to the Sky Garden Penthouse. Residences have amazing views to the Square and over the city and it features beautiful amenities such as a pool, gym, movie and games space. All this within a unique position in Auckland’s Art Quarter – the civic heart of the city.
All the residences feature generous dimensions and flowing floor plans that contribute to a sense of luxury. The heritage features of this modernist classic have been respected and restored, creating a residence of unrivalled character.
The CAB was also a win-win for the planet. Re-using this building saved 6,150 tonnes of carbon, and also 98% of the demolition material has been used to build new roads versus ending up in the dump!
Residents are proud of the sustainable commitment Love & Co. made in the vision of this project and also the quality of its construction by an all NZ architecture, construction, and design team at the top of their game.
